Boredom Eater
Somedays or for some of us everyday we eat because of an emotion rather than because we are hungry. Emotional eaters eat when they are angry, sad/lonely, stressed, insecure, or bored. I have battled with emotional eating for many years and I have developed solutions to emotional eating that don't require food. In this blog I will from time to time blog about the different kinds of emotional eaters and the solutions for them. Yesterday I kept taking frequent breaks from working (since I was working from home for the day) and found myself sneaking into the pantry and snacking throughout the day not because I was hungry but because I was bored. As soon as I realized that I was eating out of boredom I tried some of the solutions I had come up with. I immediately left the house and went for a brisk walk and then I went to Target and did some shopping with my husband. As soon as my mind switched gears from food to what cleaning supplies to buy, that urge to go and eat something dissapated. Next time you find yourself eating out of boredom, call up a friend, do something active, and switch your focus onto something other than food!

Yet Another Sexy Belly Find
Do you love muffins like I do?! While muffins taste delicious they can have over 600 calories like the Kirkland muffins from Costco do (that's more than double the calories of an average breakfast). Fear not you can still have your muffins, meet your daily fiber requirements, and lose weight too! Fiber One brand has new blueberry and banana chocolate chip muffins that are 190 calories each and have 7 grams of fiber (28% of your daily fiber needs). On top of that they are simply delicious and have no cardboard taste! So go ahead and indulge!

Sexy Belly Find
Today I was craving a chocolate chip cookie! I was picking up lunch and was debating whether or not I should take a giant chocolate chip cookie home too! After going back and forth in my mind, I finally decided I would go to the supermarket and find an alternative for my sweet tooth craving. So this afternoon I stopped at Ralphs and picked up a box of 100 calorie Nabisco Fudge Petites. They are not only a delicious shortbread cookie but they also only have a 100 calories compare to the 400 calories plus of the chocolate chip cookie and they don't have high fructose corn syrup! Next time you have a sweet tooth grab a bag of these yummy cookies and keep that belly sexy!

Welcome to Confessions of a Sexy Belly.
A sexy belly is not limited to the flat, toned belly or the 6 pack we see on the cover of fitness magazines. A sexy belly also comes from within. Many people who have the flat and toned stomachs may not feel sexy due to distorted body images. A sexy belly is when you feel sexy with the belly you have. The key to a sexy belly is not only making healthy food choices and eating everything in moderation, but it is also waking up every morning and choosing to feel sexy from inside. I will provide you with the tools you need to feel confident from within and introduce you to healthy substitutes for the foods you crave to look sexier on the outside too!
